A lovely nursery
My 2 year old loves it here and I’d recommend it to anyone who might be considering sending their children here.
Staff go above and beyond
I can’t thank Cheryl and her staff enough for staying open during these very scary times and allowing parents to still be able to work. They make sure that the environment is as clean as possible and the communication with parents is excellent. I’ll be very sad when my girls go to reception in September as they love going to pre-school.
Nativity 2019
The Nativity Play was truly amazing. To see young children say their lines, sing songs etc was brilliant. My son never told me he had a part to play in the Nativity but during the lead up he came home from school singing sings and learning his lines. Cheryl and her team are truly fantastic and how the children all handled preforming to such a big audience was lovely to see.
Excellent Pre-School
I knew I found the right preschool for my little boy when on his taster session he climbed into the water pit to play with the trucks!! Stanley started preschool in September 2018 & is now in his last year before big school.
I honestly couldn’t wish for a better bunch of aunties to look after Stanley. They are all caring, supporting aunties and Stanley loves them all but more importantly they are always on hand to help us parents out which I still find reassuring.
I will forever be grateful to Cheryl and her staff for how they have all helped Stanley grow, they are all the reason why he loves school so much. Thank you, ladies, your all amazing.
Amazing pre-school x
Wow where do I begin. The last 4 years have been amazing. First my son attended Nelmes pre-school and then my daughter. I would just like to say a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart. My children have thoroughly enjoyed attending the setting and so have I. Everyday they have looked forward to going to school. You have done fantastic Christmas nativity plays, Easter concerts, sports days and day outs. It’s been amazing to see the progression that they have made both academically and with their confidence too. We will all miss the aunties at Nelmes pre-school xxx
fire station trip
Nelmes pre school took my son on a visit to the fire station this week. He met the firemen and sat in the fire engine. He was so excited to tell me everything when he got home. He had a fantastic time. Nelmes pre school always go above and beyond for the children. They make each day exciting and interesting – thank you
Had a lovely afternoon yesterday helping take the children to the local fire station & Park.
All the children where so well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fire station visit
My son has attended Nelmes pre school for a couple of years now. He has loved every minute and is always happy to attend. The staff are very friendly and he has learnt so much. I am truly amazed by how much his confidence, numeracy and knowledge has improved. The pre school goes above and beyond. For example, today they were taken to the local fire station. They had a tour and were introduced to the firemen and got the opportunity to sit in the fire engine – which my son will never forget and hasn’t stopped talking about it since he returned home today. There have also been visits to the pre school from the local police, park visits and Cheryl (the manager) has also brought her horse up to the pre school for the children to see. The pre school goes above and beyond for the children. I am always updated about my sons learning and I have noticed activities for the children are changed daily. My son has made so many friends and adores all of the staff. Myself and my son will be extremely sad to say good bye to Nelmes at the end of term, as he will be starting big school in September. Thank you to Cheryl and her team for everything over the past two years. Your impact And hard work has been invaluable. God luck for the future. My daughter loves it at Nelmes. Today she visited Hornchurch fire station… she had a blast! She told me all about it when I got home. Just seeing her excited little face and hearing her tell me all her stories it fabulous.
She also likes to play teacher… it’s fascinating watching her development and I am grateful for the guidance nelmes have given her :-)
The nativity show is very well prepared, and all the children were very well behaved. This show gave parents a chance to see how much hard work the teachers put in, and it’s amazing.
