Well done to all the Children and Aunties at Nelms for a fantastic Navity performance. Some great moments were captured to show them when they are older. All the children seemed to enjoy singing and being on the big stage. Thank you once again and big thumbs up to Mary you were a little star x
pre school year
It was an amazing year for my son, he was always very happy to go, he always asking me in the morning , mummy what it will be today in the school? he really enjoy all the activities and he improved a lot in being more in depending in things as washing his hands by himself and dress himself, going to the toilet..etc. The communication with the staff was very good always informing me about his behave and help me to improve if it was a problem. I also felt that the security was very good and I was feeling happy leaving my son there. The activities were very good specially the Christmas show was really nice and they show them the important meaning of Christmas. Really happy with nelmes and the staff I wish them the best and Thank you for everything
Sports Day + End of Term
My daughter has loved being at Nelmes Pre-School for the last 2 years. She enjoys all the creative things that they do and the environment is warm and friendly. In the mornings before coming to Nelmes she would literally be jumping up and down with excitement.
The aunties are really committed to the children and they get really good support and individual care and attention. I can see the different skills that she has acquired since coming to Nelmes and i would like to thank you all for that x
Sports day 2015 was excellent! Children and parents alike had so much fun and who knew the mums and dads would be so competitive in the grown up races!!
Nelmes always provides a variety of different experiences for the children from visits to community members, or going to the Firs Station to growing chicks from eggs and tomatoes plans from seeds.
Communication with parents is excellent and it is easy to get involved in the nursery community.
I would recommend Nelmes Pre school to anyone who is looking for a caring and personal environment for their children to grow and thrive in.
Thanks to all the staff and management at Nelmes Pre- School we have loved being part of the family and we are so sad to say good bye. x
Sports day
I have just got back from the Daisy sports day and they all done soo well. It was well organised and the children really enjoyed themselves.
My Son started at Nelmes in February this year, He has settled in great and absolutely loves his time here, he comes home singing new songs, tells me all about the learning games and activities he has done during his session. He brings home tomato plants potted, cakes made, Mothers and Father’s Day cards
The Aunties are wonderful with the children they take notice of the smallest of things and update you straight away, they work really hard!
Can’t recommend Nelmes enough, looking forward to Sports day next week! X
Brilliant Pre School
I’d like to Thank all the staff at Nelmes for making both my sons experience here amazing, since my boys started Nelmes they have come so far. I can’t thank use enough. I’ feel so sad that my eldest is leaving to go into reception in September but lucky enough for my youngest he will be sticking around for another 2 yrs.
Not only are all the staff polite, easy to approach but the love they have for these children is out of this world, they can’t do enough to help these children grow, aswell as working with the parents making sure we are involved and informed with everything that involves our children.
I’d also like to add that the graduation that took place was absolutely amazing the pictures that were taken was out of this world, and the party and entertainer that was organised specially for the children was outstanding.
I can’t thank you enough for being a big part of my boys lives.

a perfect preschool
Today my daughter graduated from Nelmes preschool.She has attended for 10 months and it was the best decision I’ve ever had to make. She has thrived! The staff, the environment,the atmosphere and the fun are all fantastic. Would highly recommend Nelmes to anyone. We will miss everyone thank you Nelmes Preschool xx
Fire Station Visit
The Firestation visit was amazing last Friday. It was very well co-ordinated by staff and all the children were really well behaved and coped with the walking. Well done all.
Nelmes is very well organised and communication with parents is excellent (via newsletters, the noticeboard and email responses to questions). Staff are helpful and approachable. Activities are well organised with a current theme project. My daughter talks constantly about Pre School and often role plays teacher at home. She has made friends with both younger and older children. With baking, painting, and exciting activities like a visit from the local fire station, where all the children got to sit in a fire engine, it is no wonder my daughter wants to come to Pre School every day.
